The phrase “pulling rocks down” refers to a person pulling so hard on the rock to make a move, you would think the rock is going to sink into the ground from the force of the person pulling themselves upward.
Well the yucky weather finally left us and our kids and parents are pulling so hard you’d think zombies were chasing them.
