Evergreen TAASC 2006 Summer Schedule

Welcome | Schedule | Membership Application (PDF) | Contact Us

Typically TAASC programs focus on longer trips and experiences in the summer and hold off on the weekly meetings until after the kids resettle back into their school schedule in the fall.

The Evergreen TAASC program will offer six 5-day trips this summer. Each TAASC member will be encouraged to participate in two of the 5-day trips (and more if openings allow). The trips will be custom designed to the skill levels and needs of each age group.

Here is a list of possible activities that will occur:

  • Rock Climbing
  • Canoeing
  • First Aid
  • Bouldering
  • Kayaking
  • Caving
  • Backpacking
  • Trail Cooking
  • Teambuilding
  • Community Service
  • Rappelling
  • Environmental Education
  • Map & Compass

It will be important for members to attend all weekly meetings in May and two of the summer 5-day trips because activities will be focusing on a solid foundation of core skills and training to prepare TAASC members for more advanced experiences in the fall.
